The City’s finances are intertwined with those of regional, state and federal governments in often-complicated relationships. We believe the City needs an outside group such as ours to independently research, analyze and monitor St. Paul’s fiscal affairs.
Three Questions to Ask YOUR Elected Officials
When building rapport with elected officials to discuss the findings in our Executive Report, three good questions to ask are:
- Are you aware that St. Paul has the highest effective property tax rate in Minnesota, one of the highest taxed states in the U.S.?
- Is fiscal responsibility a top issue for you, and if so, are you aware of the information and data In$ight Paul is providing to help?
- Is St. Paul’s current approach economically and competitively sustainable?
